WHAT IS CONTRARY ACTION?
Contrary Action means "Opposite Conduct."
It means behaving in opposite ways than you are currently behaving. It means making new choices that are opposite of the ones you are now making.
EXAMPLE If you are afraid to speak in front of a group of people, and therefore never do; instead you hide out and duck down in your chair. You are missing new opportunities that may come from speaking up, opportunities like work promotions, more money, meeting new people - perhaps even meeting the one! The CONTRARY ACTION would be to speak up in front of the group anyways.
Forcing yourself to do what is right for you, even when it isn't comfortable helps us grow leaps and bounds and enables us to achieve our dreams. Successful people, push past their fears and limitations ALL THE TIME.
If you want something you have NEVER had, you are going to have to do something you have NEVER done.
